For more than 10 years, I have dedicated my career to expanding video audiences for big and small organizations. I personally witnessed the progression of the medium — from the development of OVPs and video sharing, to the rise and fall of Flash, to our current era of responsiveness and cross-platform support. In 2006, video consumption accounted for 12% of all Internet traffic. By 2020, Cisco projects that it will account for 80% of all Internet traffic. Clearly, video is a part of everyday life for many individuals.

Formally educated in filmmaking and design, I quickly landed at the intersection of editorial, marketing, product, and engineering after I started my career. In all of my former roles, I worked cross-functionally to drive video revenue and growth. And through my oversight of video performance, I built a professional foundation in data analysis and audience development.

Today, I use my multidisciplinary background to help businesses shape their video strategies. My contributions are impactful yet varied; they could involve setting a company's best practices for measuring video success or keeping a brand in lockstep with evolving social video norms. I could also advise on the burgeoning forces in the video landscape, such as ad tech and verification. I could even help businesses adopt emerging "video-adjacent" technologies, like Virtual Reality and OTT streaming.

But no matter the subject, I work with all of my partners to ensure that each video solution conforms to their specific business needs, resources, and goals. Furthermore, I am committed to establishing systems that are sustainable and scaleable.

Storytelling is a joyful exercise for me and I use it to reach audiences and simplify elaborate concepts. To that end, I have written guides, designed visualizations, and even created original video content for my partners. As you will see from this selection of work, my expertise in video and data analysis occasionally collides with my compassion for animals. 🙂
